D&M Precision Ag was established in 2009 with the goal of helping farmers in the area with their precision ag and equipment needs. In 2011, the main area of focus shifted to strip till and application equipment sales specifically. In an effort to fill a void in that market, and on his own farm, Todd designed the first “Strip Freshener” in 2014. After much trial and error, the Strip Freshener started supplying even better results than initially anticipated. Todd believed that the piece of equipment did not only have the potential to change his farming operation, but others as well. His dedication to putting the Strip Freshener on as many farms as possible led to a partnership with Yetter Manufacturing, who thankfully understood and shared his vision. They helped him turn the extremely versatile piece of tillage and application equipment into something he never could have imagined in those early days in his farm shop.
Shortly after D&M Precision Ag was started, a relationship with FAST Ag Solutions was established and turned into not only a dealership opportunity, but also some long-time friendships. Their trusted lineup of equipment has not only made a difference on Todd’s farm but also on countless other customers as well. The hands-on experience that Todd has from his own farm provides a shared insight with his customers and allows him to specifically offer equipment that he truly knows and trusts.
While D&M Precision Ag continually strives to find solutions to problems, fill voids, improve conservation practices, and help growers improve and grow their operations, it’s the relationships that are the true priority. Each conversation is viewed as an opportunity to learn, grow and succeed right alongside each customer and supplier and build long-term relationships and friendships. Truly, the most rewarding part of the business for Todd has not been the sales, but the network of friends built along the way.
